Beverly Grace Hermes, age, 52 of Chaska, died on Monday, April 28th, 2014, at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Memorial Service was held Monday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at Crown Of Glory Lutheran Church, 1141 Cardinal Street, Chaska; with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Reverend Matt Bersagel celebrated Beverly’s Life.

Bev was born on July 20, 1961, in Charles City, IA, to Henry and Elaine (Von Haden) Veith. She was one of seven children. On Oct. 2, 1981, Bev married Gene Hermes in Glen Ullin, ND. They had three children.

Bev was a member of Crown Of Glory Lutheran Church for over 20 years, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the church choir. She had a “green thumb” for her plants and gardens at her home. She loved the outdoors. Bev was a very open and welcoming person that was full of life. She taught her family how to live life and will be deeply missed!

Survivors include her husband, Gene of Chaska; daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Pete Carr of Eagan; daughter, Kelley Hermes of Minneapolis; son, Ryan Hermes of Fargo, ND; parents, Henry and Elaine Veith of Fairbury, NE; mother-in-law, Alice Hermes of Bismarck, ND; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barb Ding and husband, George of Phoenix, AZ; Susan Dux and husband, Michael, of Fairbury, NE; Kathy Henning and husband, Bob, of Lincoln, NE; Karen Dux and husband, Steve, of Fairbury, NE; and Rhonda Fuelberth and husband, Dean, of Lincoln, NE.
