Earl ‘Rick’ Arnold

Jan. 4, 1951 – May 26, 2022

Earl ‘Rick’ Richard Arnold, 71, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022.

Rick was born Jan. 4, 1951, in Yakima, Washington to Jack Cecil Arnold and Maria Anastasia Osmanska.

A graduate of Fairfield High School in 1969, he was a Veteran of the United States Army, with his service beginning in 1971 and was honorably discharged in 1977.

He then began his career in construction, owning and operating E. R. Arnold Construction for many years.


He enjoyed fishing, loved NASCAR and was a loyal Raiders fan.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Bryan Sharp; grandsons, Brayden Sharp and Sawyer Sharp; nephews and nieces and many friends.

Services will be held at 11:45 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, California.

Gabby Reffke (Ludwig) (1969)

I am so sad right now, you will be very missed!  I have many childhood memories from in the "hood" (Clay street),  playing football, hide and seek, watching cartoons and just being kids.   We just had a long conversation last month and I'm so glad we have caught up these past few months. You were a good friend. crying

Rick was a wonderful person with integrity and humor. Thanks for being who you were, Rick. Always will be remembered.
