Steven Shippee

From Fairfield High School did a 30 year career in the US Marine Corps (24 active duty; 6 years in the reserves), and along the way graduated from George Mason University (Fairfax, VA) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Adminstration. Completed 33 credits towards a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources Management at Pepperdine University, completed a Master of Science Degree in Education at Old Dominion University, and am presently thinking about a doctorate from Gonzaga University ... just thinking - (it's on the "bucket list").

Fondly remember being a yearbook photographer ... got to take lots and lots of pictures. Went from that to being a newspaper photographer for a short while. Funny school story - as part of a school class assignment went to a play in San Francisco with Karla Myrick and upon returning her back to her home (later than expected) her mom mistook me for Karla and drug me out of the car by my hair (darn, that hurt!!) ... haven't seen Karla since 1969, but remember that incident like it was just "yesterday". For some reason I've always been good about getting haircuts since then.
