I recall conversations with Rich during late night closing at McDonalds. We discussed aspirations of careers requiring us to wear suits to work everyday. The world seems to have gone business casual. Each time I wear a suit to work, or for an event, I think of Rich LaRue.
One of the more humorous memories I have of Rich is after our High School years when Scott Holmes loaned his car to Rich and we went for a joy ride after a party - probably at Boltz farm. Rich was driving out north of town and started fishtailing on a gravel road. We ended up face down in a freshly constructed V-shaped ditch. I got out to push to no avail. Rich got out and literally lifted the front of the car up as I backed it out of the ditch and off we went. A few weeks later I heard Scott talking about one of headlights not popping up on his car. Without considering that Rich never told Scott of our exploits I relayed the story - sorry about that one, Rich.
