What have I been up to since 1988, hummm, lets see....school, school, and more school! I am currently working toward my Doctorate in education at WVU, had the opportunity to travel to lots of places both nationally and internationally, I switched jobs about 2 years so I don't travel as often anymore, but a rolling stone gathers no moss....hard to say where/when I will end up next...now that I have everyone's address....I may be coming to a city near you!!! I have that GPS thingy, too, but don't use it. I just don't like it, but I have to keep it so I can appear to be technologically "advanced" to my daughter's friends. I'll stay with the traditional paper map, thank you!
Worked in human services and housing counseling for about 5 years before coming to WVU. That was an experience to say the least. I'm kinda on cruise control now; enjoying life, capturing and relishing every moment I can. I'm even looking forward to the big 4-0 in about 18 more months!

OK, this is a funny one. I had 5th period (or whatever was directly after lunch) physiology with Mr Lawson. I was late for class and REALLY had to be in there for some reason. I heard the bell ringing and just knew I wouldn't have enough time to make it to the main buliding because I was walking up all those steps from the Freshman Bldg. When I topped the steps, I made a run for the only quick means of ingress: the ground floor window to his classroom. Made it to window got ready to launch myself because by now there were people waiting at the window to help pull me through, I get directly beneath my launch site, and SLID IN THE MUD!!!
I was covered from hip to ankle on my left side. Still jumped through the window, still got there moments before Mr Lawson, I don'think he noticed any thing out of the ordinary. If I did that now, I'd be in intensive care for a week.
