Comments:

After Graduation, I went to Clarksburg Beauty
Academy. Graduated in 1986 and worked at Hess's Dept. Store 3 1/2 yrs, leaving as manager. I opened Kelly's Salon at Deerfield center and was there for 14 years. After having Dalton, I closed the shop and started working at Bella Hair Design located in Whitehall, and I am still there! I found out in Jan. 1993, that I had malign. Melenoma. My Dad died in 1989 and had to experience a life change. Losing a parent is HARD!!! All I have ever done is HAIR! No neat jobs, no booming future, no butts to kiss. But if I no work--I have no Money!! Self employment is hard. I got married in 1989. I married the total opposite of me. OPPOSITES i guess do attract? We own a home in Taylor County, and now I am a Grafton Bearcat. Dalton attends West Taylor Elementary School. We own camper and love to camp and fish. I have not been too many exciting places or done many exciting things but, I love my job and am proud or myself. It takes about 2 months to get an appointment with me. (unless u have pull!) I still have a big heart, love to laugh and smile and Never know a stranger. I keep in touch with Many old school friends and thank God for each of them.

School Story:

Gosh, I loved school. Well not the work, just the socialization of it. I was STRAIGHT laced, never skipped a day until Senior Skip Day, Never tasted alcolhol until Senior Prom Picnic (thanks to Jimmy Lamb and the Keg and who ever helped him get it) My favorite surprise memory was when Jerry Retton and I got gloves for Gripper of the Year award at Senior Rec. Assembly. Voted by the teachers. I never thought I was a butt-kisser! I do not miss Ms. Hubers snorting during class. That was gross!

Who was your favorite teacher?

If they were Cool--I liked them! I learned the most from ... None of them. They never taught me my skills! I do some of their hair though! My favorite would have to be Mrs. Jo Lawson. I really enjoyed her. She had Patience!
