First Visit FAQs
If you're new to this site, please read this entire page FIRST! It will hopefully answer your questions on how to get a password and create a profile as well as answer concerns you may have concerning privacy.
This website is maintained by a classmate (Randy de Steuben) and is completely free to all members. You'll never be asked to pay to create a profile.
Please register, even if you don't plan to attend the 30th reunion.
Here's how to "register" (create your profile/password) in 4 easy steps:
1. Read all the info below FIRST. If you're not into reading instructions and the "small print"
then proceed now to Step 2.
2. Click the "Classmate Profiles" link in the tan colored navigation area to the left.
3. Find your name* in the alphabetically sorted list and click on it.
4. Complete the information you want to have appear in your profile and SAVE it.
IT'S THAT SIMPLE!
* If you were a GCM 1980 graduate and your name is not listed (my bad!) or if you are a GCM graduate or faculty member and would like to be added as a Guest Member, please click on the "Contact Us" link and tell me your name and graduating year and answer the question "What symbol hangs on the outside wall of the auditorium facing Rt. 7?"
Once your profile is created, it will need to be verified by the site administrator. This could take a few minutes, a few hours, or a day depending on the administrator's availability (i.e., how long his "honey-do" list is!)
You will be notified by email once your profile has been verified. You can then start exploring the entire site, join the Message Forum, contact other classmates -- just start having fun!

"Shhhhh!" (Privacy)
You can choose whether your "Classmate Profile" is publicly viewable on the website (e.g., by other classes, friends, and the general public) or restricted to registered Classmates only. If restricted, search engines and the general public will be blocked from accessing your Classmate Profile page. You can also choose whether or not your mailing address and phone number are displayed; otherwise, only the City and State where you live will be listed. Click on the "Edit Profile" link under the Member Functions menu in the navigation area, then scroll down to the bottom of the page to make your choice.
Login Issues
If you have several e-mail addresses and cannot remember which one you used to register, or if you no longer have access to that e-mail address, click on "Contact Us" and provide your new e-mail address. I'll make the change and then e-mail you a temporary password. Once you've logged
If you remember your e-mail address but you've forgotten your password (because you're 48 years old and those "senior moments" are occurring more-and-more frequently!), click on the "Forgot password?" link above the green "Log On" button, and the website will automagically e-mail your password to you within a few minutes.
in using your new e-mail address and temporary password, you should first change your password by clicking the "Change Password" link under the Member Functions menu on the home page.

YOU decide whom you want to provide your own e-mail address to directly. To check if you've received any new messages, click on "Message Center" under the MEMBER FUNCTIONS menu in the navigation area.
