I am a College Graduate from North Carolina Central University in 1991 from the School of Public Health. While at NCCU I was very active in the Health Education Club and I was part of the Big Brother program spearheaded by the department. My weekends were full of studying, working and partying. My college education gave me a solid background to develop opportunities in my chosen field. After graduating I applied and was selected for Peace Corps Service. My Peace Corps assignment was in Guinea Bissau, West Africa. There was an intellectually intense 3 month training requirement prior to beginning service. The adventure led me to two West African countries in two three months: Cape Verde, West Africa and Guinea Bissau.
