30+ teaching Middle School in Virginia, Fayetteville, and Clinton. Now retired and enjoying the Good Life of retirement ( running after 8 grandchildren's activities.) In the spring and summer months we spend a lot of time at the beach. and in the winter we "rest up" for another year of the same.

A group of us went to Raleigh to see the Kingston Trio Concert in the colosseum. During intermission Tip McCall and I went to get somethhing to drink, and found it impossible to get near the front of the line to be waited on, so, I told Tip to lean againgst the wall and look desperate, which she did, and I yelled out that she was about to go into a diabetic coma and they needed to clear the way. They did, and I motioned to Tip to "come on" ,we ordered drinks and enjoyed the rest of the program. My mother told me that was like yelling fire in an auditorium and I must never do that again. Guess she was right, but we thought it was funny then. Right Tip?
