Winn, I recall our chance encounter in the 70's in N.J. with fondness.
Captiva was my winter spot for years. You'd appreciate this R.E. story: I had an opportunity to buy the central 1/3 of N. Captiva for $100K in early '80's and passed when the agent and I disembarked, entered the wood line and were attacked by a hoard of huge black mosquitoes. Then I passed on 15 acres bordering the Cork Screw Bird Sanctuary that the owner was giving away, because there were crocks in the ponds. You probably get those stories all the time.
It's good to see you looking well.
Allow me to share a Captiva poem with you as a birthday gift:
I ran six bare foot miles to you Captiva
Swam the gap at Sanibel
Though I admit it's true
That I'm a pirate through
The gold lays buried on Sanibel
My heart is here with you
Best wishes, Ron
