—Graduated from MTSU with a journalism degree
—Worked in Illinois at a daily newspaper as a sports writer;
—Spent a year in North Carolina covering dirt Late Model races from coast to coast while working at National Dirt Digest;
—Came back home and spent a decade as the sports editor at the Tullahoma News and then another four years as the publisher of the Moore County News;
—Since 2016 I’ve been an editor at DirtonDirt.com, once again covering dirt Late Model races from coast to coast

—Lived in Lynchburg since ’03 … Still love racing, still love sports, still love the Falcons.

Not so many stories as quick, dreamlike blurs. Among them are:
—Playing bumper tag in the school parking lot with Ryan Towry.
—My first school dance with Jana Bowles.
—Rolling Mr. Taylor's house (every year!).
—Starting a Basketball Fan Club for Chris Taylor our sophomore year. "Let Hoover Play!"
—Spending my junior and senior years with Jennifer Caudle, Darin Wade and Julie Putman (maybe that's where the blurs are).
—Biology and Speech with Clay Higgins.
—Going to the state basketball tournament our senior year. Man Quincy Vance could dunk!

Again - they're all kinda blurs now. But still fun to laugh about.
