Hey everyone! I am still trying to catch up with the messages, but now that I am settled in for the evening with a glass of wine and my computer, maybe I will be able to catch up.

Billy-The other winery is Charleville. They make wonderful wine-a-ritas!

Tracy-how is the music coming?

Andrea-Happy Birthday in case I don't get a chance to log on tomorrow! Your birthday is the same day as my sister's that should be an easy one to remember...
My husband is coming. We had fun at his 20th 2 years ago, so hopefully he will have fun at mine but he was an outgoing person who knew and was friends with everyone and my high school experience was a little different than that...
Oh well, I just want to have a fun night out without kids. I will probably be wearing a pair of trouser jeans and nice shirt. I am all about the comfort! Especially when I am drinking..

Preparty at Squeakers?
Any plans for the post-party?

Mary hey, how are you? Yes I love the wineries. Problem is I drink the wine a little too fast and a little too much. Favorite is the late harvest wines. Its nice to sit outside on a nice day with good friends and just relax, check out the scenery.

My nephew wears my old letter jacket. Has it on now. Told him he can have it. He gets alot of comments on his vintage letter jacket. 24 yrs old!!!

Squekers 430 to 530. believe post party is open to suggestions. Smokehouse? Dirty rug? SWEEEEEET!!!

Speaking of vintage jackets ~ 'member the jackets with our last names on the back? Lol, one of my sisters has mine - and she still wears the dang thing sometimes! What a dork...it was a nice jacket though.

Hey Billy! Doing just fine now that parent/teacher conference week is over. When was the last time you were at the wineries? I was surprised to see that you like Chaumette. That one is my husband's least favorite. He is more of a beer drinker but he did like the Blackberry wine at Crown. I agree that Crown is too commercial, but the 80's Weekend was worth it. The band was great!

Kim-I remember that jackets with our name on it! I can't believe we wore those things. I can't even remember what happened to my letterman jacket..

Mary last spring before I left for AZ, no good wineries out there. Not conducive to growing grapes in the desert. Villa Antonia winery not bad but not much selections. Close to home though. Went to a winery in outside of Dallas that was nice. On a lake too. Cant remember name of the place. Best trips are going to Hermann with a bunch of people on a chartered bus. Been years since ive done that. I have to agree with your husband to a degree, I prefer beer too. When in rome....

Kim long time no see. Fond memories of band. Drummers rule!! Only because I have no musical talent, drums = me. Believe we partied a few (lot) together out in your neck of the woods!

Does anyone see Gary Adkins anymore. I know he was working at ShopNSave. I worked at the YMCA in the weight room and set up a program where I helped disabled people, stroke victims, mentally challenged, etc. exercise. I loved it. But he would come in and work out. He progressed really well. He had problems recollecting the past but he remembered me. Just wonder how he is doimg now?

Gina think I missed my calling!!!

Bill ~ I thought I was the only one who was a drummer because of no other musical talent...but man could I do a nice drum roll though. I soooo wanted to play the bells but would not have been able to read the notes to save my life!

Kim Gibson (Earney)

Oh and I remember with lots of embarassment the sparkly blue snare drum I had. It was pretty but sounded like crap. Guess that's what you're stuck with when you are the youngest of 7 kids and parents find a bargain drum set listed in the paper. I'm totally over it though, can you tell?

10/23/08 09:12 PM #75

Billy Evans

I remember playing the xylephone. Couldnt read the notes so someone helped me and I just memorized the songs. Mrs. Wegman never knew. I remember you were always first chair, think Tracy snuck in there a few times.

Mine was sparkly yellow handed down from my brother. thought yours was cool being blue and all.

10/23/08 09:16 PM #76

Kim Gibson (Earney)

Yep, 1st Chair was awesome. It was very competitive. Did we party in my neck of the woods, you mean my neighborhood?

10/23/08 09:16 PM #77

Mary Branson (Coleman)

Yeah, everyone always remembers the drummers. Drums are so cool. But what about us flute players? :(
Does anyone remember going to Mizzou to play and then coming back and Mr. Rowland making us practice over and over the "Mizzou Run-On"?

Raise your hand if you ever switched instruments when we had a substitute band teacher. I played Shari's sax, Bretts french horn, Steve Smiths (where the hell is he) trombone and somebodies clarinet. Think a trumpet was tooted too.
