Hi Shari!
I do remember Mr. Rowland's sub. It was fun to give him a hard time...

Does anyone remember having to sing into a cassette player for Mr. Nall? After first quarter in 9th grade he told me "You can't sing." It was so traumatic. I quit choir and started working in the library. I still don't sing in front of people unless I have had a few and it still isn't karaoke!

Shari saw him at Homecoming. Thought he is attending Saturday.

anyone ever hear of "Six-aritas"? perhaps there will be an occasion where i could introduce some of you to a pitcher.

Mary - i remember singing into the cassette recorder for Mr. Nall. He told you that you couldn't sing? that's aweful. He should be with Simon of A.I.

Kim Gibson (Earney)

Mary, he did the same to me and I think that's why I quit and worked in the library too. Guess that's how we became good friends was during library.

Were you with me that time I got a ticket for cruising? Officially it was "impeding the flow of traffic". That was the only time my mom ever took my side. She was mad and was ready to march into the police station and be all like, "at least she was cruising and not out in a field getting drunk someplace"...little did she know that's where we were headed when we got pulled over!

Shari six-aritas. Sounds like a mixture of six margaritas!! Im game.

Mary my brother had an awesome singing voice and placed in state. When Mr Nall found out I was his little brother and sounded like him he asked me to come in and sing. I was out the door in less than a minute. Got the "Uh, never mind"

Surprisingly Mr Nalls negative response did not affect me. Ill belt out a song in a heartbeat. Daughter gets embarrased

Working in the library was the easiest class. Spent most of it visiting.

If Six-a-ritas are anything like wine-a-ritas I am game!

Yes, Kim, I was with you when you got your "cruising" ticket! I think that I might have been around when you told your mom?.?. Weren't we on our way over to Crystal to a party?

Were you with me when I got pulled over in Crystal for speeding, by the lady cop? I remember having a bottle of jack or schnapps under the seat that we had been adding to our drinks in hand... It was either you or Penny that was with me. I remember being so worried that they would find the bottle, but I just got off with a warning!

I won't sing around peers, but I sure would sing my heart out with my kindergarteners! Even with my kids until my daughter asked me to stop one day :)

Suzi Goodwin (Fudge)

Kim- Yes we are going to be able to make it. Really looking forward to seeing everybody.

Bill- I have been one of the silent forum watchers mostly. Responded some at the beginning.

Billy Evans

Suzi Are you one of the Sheriffs cronies policing the forum? A silent watcher? Does your mom still work at the library?

10/23/08 10:18 PM #115

Kim Gibson (Earney)

Mary, I think I was with you for the lady cop incident. Sneaking booze into our cups while cruising, those memories can't be beat. I believe it was me & Penny who corrupted you into drinking. You were so sweet and innocent.

I put on a good front for my parents! They thought that it was my sister who was wild!
Do you still have pix from that New Year's Eve? I remember spending the night at your house. Didn't it snow that night and we had to drive to your house?
It's a wonder that we were never in any dwi accidents!

With all of this talk about underage drinking, maybe we should skip the reunion and all go to an "AA" meeting??

I'm shocked at all of you. I waited until i was 25 before having my first drink, honest....Does anyone remember the first time they actually got drunk??

Band - Fondest memory: Blowing spit out of the spit hole in my trumpet onto the floor...and blasting out "Eye of the Tiger." Also, "This one time, at band camp.........."

Bill- No policing...just enjoying the comedy! It has been a little crazy at times. I also couldn't relive parties I didn't attend....My mom retired from the library about 10yrs ago. She and my Dad sold their house and have RVing since them.

Hey Nolen, glad you could join us. I have really enjoyed your posts. I love getting funny looks while I am laughing out loud while reading them on my iphone during my lunch break!

Band camp? There really was such a thing?

10/23/08 10:25 PM #121

Mary Branson (Coleman)

Hey Pacino! Nice of you to join us. It's not the same without you and Nolen...

Suzi-Don't worry, I can't relive parties and events that I didn't participate in but now that Kim is on here I am reliving a lot! There are a lot of memories that include you too! Skating... Did you ever get asked to skate by Cohoon?

Sorry Billy, didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I have enjoyed the conversation this evening.

As far as drinking goes, what drink???

10/23/08 10:33 PM #126

Scott Nolen

YEAH, R I G H T.....

My first time was right after I got my first paycheck from Dohacks. Had Mark Sellers buy me two 4-packs of Bartels and James wine coolers. Sat in the basement of my house, drank three of them, got smashed. I remember it like it was last night, except last night it was Billy and about 10 bud lights......

10/23/08 10:33 PM #127
