Greetings Everyone,

I just got back to the states from Deployment this past Saturday. I am still in the Navy currently stationed onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt, just past my 18 year mark and am looking at calling it quits in 6 more years (unless I get promoted).

I have been looking forward to the big 20. I know that I had a lot of fun at the 10th. I asked Eric Schmaltz to keep an eye out and let me know when this was to happen that way I can make it.

Charles this site is great.

Take care and do not hesitate to drop me a line...

Thanks for passing this on to my sister Terry, she never mentioned it to me, I just got lucky and googled my name looking for a half marathon time that I did a while back and foud this. Go figure, if I hadn't done that I would have missed out on all this.

In reading all the posts that everyone has listed, this looks much like a family reunion that we'll be having instead of a class reunion. My how everyone has changed. If you look back 20 years ago, did you ever imagine that you would be where you are today? I constantly find myself asking that all the time. Richard brought up about me still being in the Navy, I figured that I would do four years and then get out and come back home, work and hang out with old friends(my wife teases me about going back to Walmart all the time.)

I am really looking forward to coming back to the reunion. Now I will have to go out and get me a decent sport jacket (the only dress up clothes I have are my full dress uniforms and the wife said that it wouldnt be the same.) I have resisted for 20 years not buying one, looks like its time to break down. LOL

I know that it is short notice, but my ship will be having a friends and family day cruise on the 30th of this month. I know that this is Memorial Day Weekend, but this may be a once in a life time event to spend one day on an Aircraft Carrier to see what we do on a daily basis. If you'd like to attend or have any questions please let me know.

This may sound like a silly idea. but what do you all think of a tour of the old school . i know some may have children at festus so you see it often but just to go back and see some of the class rooms see the changes adn maybe point out your old lockers

Happy memorial day. I would like to thank and honor all of our military classmates that have served our country and allowed us the freedoms we have today. I would like to encourage everyone to take time out to remember all of our soldiers serving all over this world and especially the fallen soldiers and their families. If it weren't for these courageous men and women we would not have the freedoms we so often take for granted. Remember this weekend is not a time to celebrate the first official weekend of summer, but a time to reflect on our brave young men and women who so selflessly serve our country. God Bless You All!

Hello everyone! I have been on this for a while and didn't realize there was a message forum. Great job Charles this is awesome. Not to sound stupid but how the hell is everyone?

Ryan! Hell I thought you knew about this forum or i would have said something to you earlier my bad! Nikki-thank you for your words they mean a lot. The men and women that serve never look on themselves as heroes but they are they are the reason we can enjoy what we enjoy in this country. The support from the home front and from the people of the USA are what keeps them going when they are down and away from home for the holidays in places they really dont want to be. I would like to say THANK YOU! Thank you to the people who support the military because if it were not for you then it would be MUCH harder for them to do what they do!

Thanks Nikki and Richard for the kind words. It really means alot. It is words like that that make us appreciate what we do on a daily basis it also what helps us get through those 6, 8, and 18 month deployments that take us away from our loved ones. Thanks Again.

Well, I've been going along all this time thinking I would NEVER want to revisit any part of high school, but then I got an e-mail from Amy (Kotches) this morning, and she asked me if got any reunion stuff. I didn't, but I Googled (I'm a Google fanatic, probably b/c of my job) and here I am. I've spent so much time on this website today I'm going to be typing all evening to make up work!! Charles -- Great job with this! I've loved seeing all the pics and reading about everyone. Terry - Cheer up man! - I agree with Angie's comment a while back. I sit around here sometimes doing the "I'm a single mom, I have no life, blah, blah, blah" thing, and ONCE IN A WHILE I get tired of not having someone else in my life, or never just getting out of the house, but some part of me is still hopeful! (sounds good, anyway!! LOL) I know we've all got plenty to be greatful for - some of us just need to remind ourselves sometimes!

Nikki - I always wondered where Kim ended up - we were BFFs for years! It would be great if she would sign up.

Sorry this was a mile long - hope everybody's well!!
