Richard, Ok now I get it. Yeah my mom used to tell me that all the time. I tell my girls the oppposite, I tell them I hope their children don't fight and drive them crazy the way they do me. Lol.

Richard I was telling my daughter (14, well in 2 mos) about the mother curse and that I didn't get it at first. She said I am the darkest blonde ever-lol. Yes the mother curse is hard at work, I would tell my mom those same kind of things-lol.

Hey I was just looking at our classmates profile list...didn't Scott Spicer graduate in '88? I know he was at their reunion. Just wondering.

Afternoon everybody. Hope things are going well. Thought I would give everyone a heads up. If anyone is coming to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, I will be there for usually 5-6 days. I stay on St. Charles right near Canal every year which is the main parade route for all the big Crewe Parades. It is pretty nice, an actually family orientate... not that I don't spend a lot of time in other places too.

If you do come down, I can see about getting folks passes for balconies to watch parades. Or if you come down solo, you can go running with me after the parades.

Everybody have a great weekend. Kevin

This Tuesday!

Free Free Free Free Free!!!!!

Thanks to a class action lawsuit, Macy's and Nordstrom will begin giving away free cosmetics and perfumes
on Tuesday, January 20. This is part of a settlement involving price fixing on beauty products.

If you purchased items from the defendant manufacturers between May 1994 and July 2003 you are eligible to receive one free item. All you need to do is sign a registry at the store; you don't have to bring proof of purchase. $175 million in cosmetics will be given away while supplies last and for no more than seven days. Some of the brands include Dior, Calvin Klein, Lancome, Clinique, Givenchy, and Chanel.

Richard: yeah I could do without Brenda Warner as well. I don't know what it is about her, but she just gets on my nerves.

Debbie: thanks for the info, I am going to Macys on Wed so I will definitely be checking that out:).

Terry: I thought you were pretty cool in high school, you were like one of the only guys who would actually get out on the dance floor with us. Hopefully we'll get to see those moves at the reunion, better watch Footloose a few times before then-lol.

I know it is only January, but does anyone have any idea when the class reunion is being planned? Summer? Fall? Knowing how hectic everyone's schedules are, I think it would be in our best interest to get a date established as soon as possible.

I really enjoyed getting together with the group of classmates after Christmas. Looking forward to seeing the rest. I think we should have a decent turnout. I'm willing to help plan and organize when that time comes.

Carson - I’m working on a survey that should be up on the website by the weekend to get the planning stage going. Also, I should have details out this weekend about a meeting or two to form a planning committee. It should happen late January or early to mid February. I’m thinking this summer for the actual reunion. Sorry for the delay and talk to you later.

Getting options on the dates would be great. I will be up in the area several times in May, June, and August. So if that could be coordinated, it would help. Everybody have a great weekend. Getting ready to go to New Orleans in a few minutes. Going to see the Eagles in the New Orleans Arena then gonna hit Bourbon all night.

About the reunion . i say keep it cheap maybe that way more people can come. or if we can swing it a project reunion. i like how we had it last reuinon . reunion at holiday inn and next day a bbque. i noticed that so far 106 or unknown am sure some of us know where these people are. do someof them not want to be found. i see chris vandenburg all the time but never close enough to talk to him. andy hueter comes in for oil changes all the time i need to ask him about chris.

here my idea for reunion start off the day with activities at the park like softball elimate horse shoes etc. then around 5 or get cleaned and start evening get togethr at 730

We should have a fake prom--ruffled tuxedos, top hats, big hair, cheap beer and Purple Passion. Maybe a fist-fight. Old school

01/27/09 10:09 AM #123

Nikki Dollar (Fincher)

Hey Mike, I was thinking an '80's themed party would be fun also. I still have my Sr Prom dress, although I doubt it still fits-LOL. Maybe the Fri night before we could have an '80's gathering @ Squeakers (Darvins). Big hair and makeup and all, the only thing different would be the wrinkles.

01/28/09 07:56 AM #124

Richard Lewis

Mike-Purple Passion? Dear god i think i would puke! A fist fight would DEFINITELY occur if the Purple Passion made and appearance.
Nikki-80's theme? that would be hilarious! I like Mike's idea of the old school tux sounds like fun we need to do something memorable
