Janice Gamel Mangan

Since 1989, I have married, divorced, and married again. This time it's for keeps. After screwing up and marrying Eric Mattingly, having a daughter with him, I got a clue and went back to school. Haley and I struggled through college and I met my husband, Lance during my last year. We didn't wait too long before we had Nolan. Now I have one girl and one boy; I want to give them as much attention as I can, so I knew after Nolan was born that I was finished.
I feel like I am finally getting my career going. I am in my fourth year at Hillsboro, teaching 3rd grade Special Ed. I love it. These kids make me smile every day. Not a week goes by that I don't come home with an awsome story about a student.
My husband is beginning a new career, after losing his job of 15 years last fall. What a shock that was! We are very excited about the endeavors he is beginning in the Insurance business.
I can't wait to see what the next 2o years brings.

It was all such a blur; I barely remember anything prior to the graduation parties!
