I have a bachelor's in music ed, a master's in instrumental conducting, and half of my doctorate in orchestral conducting. I married my high school sweetheart, Robin Barela, and have been happily married for 16 years. I have three great kids; the oldest going into Coconino as a sophmore this fall. I have lived in Mesa, Winslow, Memphis, TN, and Las Vegas. I am now back in Flagstaff.
