Thomas Carney

When i graduated High School, I joined the Marine Corps and was stationed in Twentynine Palms, Ca. When I finished my four year stint my folks had moved to Prescott Valley so with no money in my pocket I had no choice but to move there.

A year after being out of the Marine Corps I followed my dreams and became a Prescott Valley Police Officer. I worked there for 5 and a half years until I moved to Camarillo, Ca and have been with the Simi Valley Police for the past 9 and a half years

My oldest son Drue graduated from High School last year and was attending UTI until 5/31/10 when he was involved in a skateboarding accident where he died three days later from brain trauma on 6/3/10.

My second son, Brandon is 12 and attends middle school. He is my pride and joy and I enjoy everyday I am with him. He keeps telling me he wants to be a helicopter pilot which means large school loan for me, but if he can make good money at it I will let him follow his dreams.

I remember my Senior Year being the school mascot and jumping around in the costume not knowing what I was doing, but everyone seemed to like it so hey I went with it, clueless in the panther mask.
