Children / Grandchildren Anne married to John Melone, 4 daughters: Miranda, 23, after a year of service in San Francisco, is More…in grad school at the university the University of Dayton. She has been to Zambia 3 times and is very involved in helping keep a school open at the village of Luebue.Renae, 21 attending Creighton University majoring neuroscience and hoping to get into medical school. Elisabeth,19, attends. St Louis University in nursing. Jaine, is 16 and a sophomore at Marian Catholic and in their colorguard. Anne teaches in the Flossmoor il school district , John works for Star Com and is senior VP in charge of marketing They live in Monee, Il. and have a dog named Tess Leona.

Karen married to Nick Torres, 1 daughter, Rowan, 9 years old. Karen works at the Federal Reserve Bank, Nick for Blue Grace Logistics. Their beloved dog Coco Brewsky recently went to heaven with Bill and now they have Lexy. They live in Tampa


Lisa married to Rick Ayres, 4 sons, Collin, 18,Caeden 17, Dylan 14, and Ethan, 9. The two older boys attend Marmion academy in Aurora and the two younger ones attend St Pat’s in St Charles. Lisa is in marketing for a group of real estate companies. They have a 100

Graduate of College of St. Teresa, Winona, Minnesota, 1965; married to Bill Miller, June, 1966. Three Daughters: Anne, Karen and Lisa; Teaching certificate, 1980, Governors State University. Taught 1st grade for 20 years, retired in 2000. 9 grandchildren.

After a six year fight with a horrific disease, Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsy, Bill, my very special husband of 50 years was taken by the angels up to heaven. I miss him so much but he suffered so that I am so grateful he is at peace and now can truly take care of me and our three daughters, three sons in law, and 9 beautiful grandchildren. I feel his touch every day!!
PSP is a very rare disease, often confused with Parkinson's, however it is much more severe, much more dibilitating, works much quicker and is terminal. Bill was sick 5-6 years. I thought I would have him with me much longer than that. He suffered so much that I am so grateful it did not last any longer. Google CURE PSP for more information.

What a beautiful obituary!  Sounds as if Sam lived his life as he wanted and was so happy!  A fulfillment not many can claim these days!  My condolences to his wife and children!  Cherish the memories!! He of course will watch over you minute by minute. Feel his presence as I am sure he lived you so!  Good bless!

Bill, my cherished husband of 50 years went on ahead to heaven in July , 2016. He was terribly ill for 6 years with a horrific disease called Progressive supra nuclear palsy. PSP is very rare but Bill carried on courageously. He was a gentle man who loved his wife, his kids, his sons in law and his grandchildren more than anything. He was so proud of his family. We all loved him dearly and will try not to get along without him but to live with the love he left behind.
