FCHS 10 Year Class Reunion

Hello FCHS Class of '98 graduates!! I do hope everything is going well for anyone that might read this post. I just wanted to let everyone in on the details that we have available about our upcoming reunion.
We will be having a potluck lunch at 12 pm at Turman Sports Complex in Willis for graduates and ALL their family...yes bring your children, we want to see them all!! This facility will seat 200, so we hope to pack it out!!! There is a playground there for the kids and plenty of room to roam around. We are in the process of trying to get together a slideshow of old high school pictures to show during lunch. If you have any memorable pictures that you would be willing to share with us scan them in and send them on. You can send them to my email address: viaa@floyd.k12.va.us
We want this to be really special, so don't be bashful!!
We will take a short break to go home drop the kids off and get changed into our evening wear before meeting back at Great Oaks Country Club in Floyd (make a right off 221, 1/4 mi. past Ray's Rest.) at 7 pm. Evening wear can be whatever you would like it to be...but please NO jeans and T-shirts (sorry guys :) ). If you're like me, you don't have opportunities to get dressed up that often, so while we have the chance, let's take advantage of it!! We will have music and dancing, plenty of socialization, and whatever spirits you would like to bring with you. Ryan suggested that we have a keg or two, so I imagine we can oblige that as well.
We will be setting up a paypal account through this website very shortly (as soon as we get the caterer nailed down and decide how much the music and facility rental is going to cost us). We will try and keep the cost to a minimum! Tickets will be priced as individuals making adults and children two different prices. As it looks now, we will have lunch tickets and dance tickets so if you are planning to come to both you would need to purchase both.
We would love to do all of our planning through email & the internet in general; however, we are very aware that not everyone has access to a computer. Please, Please help us in getting the word out. If you know of someone that is not registered through this website send them an email or call them. At this point it's not so much about finding long lost classmates, it's more about getting the ones that live right here in Floyd to sign up!! Get on the horn people!!
I feel like I can speak for everyone when I say that we are excited to see everyone again and do some much needed catching up! Some of us haven't seen each other since the last day of school, graduation, or our senior beach trip!! We hope to see EVERYONE there, but if you can't make it, update your profile anyway so that we can still get a glimpse of how life is treating you these days!
