What have you been up to since you graduated?
Quick recap of the last 30 years.... I graduated from UW-Eau Claire December 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration. I then became employed as the Administrator at a private nursing home in a small Minnesota town - and hated it. I married Dave Adams (also originally from FDL - but graduated from WLA) February 1988 and had our first child, Brooke, that November. We moved back to Wisconsin that following spring - first Fond du Lac, but then moved up to the Neenah where we were employed as Investment Reps with AAL. We had our daughters Brittany in June 1991 and Michelle in April 1993. In June of 1995, we opened our own Investment branch office for an independent broker dealer firm and ended up moving back to Fond du Lac the summer of 1999. We purchased my grandparents home from their estate - which shares the same 10 acres as the home I grew up in. Over the last 12 years we have traveled the country to our daughters gymnastics meets, for which both Brittany & Michelle have earned their college scholarships for. Brooke, our oldest, rode and showed horses while younger and graduated Deans List with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Columbia College in Chicago this May. In addition to growing a successful business and watching our girls grow into beautiful and accomplished young ladies, we have also enjoyed breeding boxers. The latest change to our family was the arrival of our little grandson, Clayton - who made his surprise entrance to this world last November (2010) at the tiny weight of only 2 1/2 lbs. He is our little miracle - making us grandparents way to soon - but loving every minute of it. Brittany and Michelle both graduated with honors from Western Michigan University in Biomedical Sciences. Love all of them and are very proud of their accomplishments.
