Sandra Sparks

I've done more things than you probably care to know, and less than I should! I've been involved in most arts, and am now a writer. I've performed with the Georgia Renaissance Festival, the Atlanta Shakespeare Company, and Emory Theater. I was with the first American company (ASC) to perform on the stage of the new Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, during their workshop season. Other than my artistic work I am, also, a psychic medium - so life stays interesting!

Most good memories came out of chorus, in spite of one thing that hurt a lot at the time: I never passed the popularity contest of being voted into the Traveleers. Yet three great things came out of that snub: Tommy Weathers was on my side the rest of his life, Frankie Erwin gave me her chorus letter because she felt I deserved it (and gave me an impetus to keep going in spite of getting terrible stage fright from the hurt), and that I did keep going, and found my own way of singing, in spite of everything.
