Married to Gerald Streit in August 1979.

After moving around a lot we settled in Gilbert, Arizona in August 2000. Started working in the Gilbert school system as as aide in Special Education. Got my Masters in Special Education and taught for 15 years in Special Education. I retired from teaching in May 2019. I work part time subbing but spend most of my spare time attending lots of grandchildren activities.

Proud Grandparents of 6 beautiful grandchildren:
Calleigh, Aidan, Clarissa, and Cecelia Streit.
Austin Smith and Logan Smith.

During the crazy pandemic of 2020 we moved to a 1-story house: no pool to keep up with and no fireplace to clean and best of all no stairs for my sore knees and hips. Lots of packing, purging and throwing away then unpacking and rearranging. There's been no time for boredom.
