BANGOR - Daniel Joseph Berube, 43, passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004. He was born June 27, 1960, in Eagle Lake, the son of Hampy and Lucienne (Parent) Berube. Daniel was a free spirit with a wonderful sense of humor that made you feel instantly comfortable in his presence. A perfect gentleman, Daniel treated his wife as his queen and he had a very strong sense of right and wrong with an impeccable character. His professional career as a home health aide was a perfect example of his selflessness and desire to make people feel better. Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Ann (Whitney) Berube of Bangor; his mother of Eagle Lake; one sister, Debbie Mattioli of Connecticut; one brother, Fred Berube and his wife of New York; a son, Brian Foley and his wife, Lori, of Winthrop, Mass.; two daughters, Jennifer Foley and her fianc‚, Phil, of Green Lake, and Effie May Rideout and her husband, Deven, of Bangor; a precious granddaughter, Sophie Ann Rideout; a nephew, BJ Mattioli; many close and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father and he will be remembered by the beloved family pets, Edith, Buddy and Stubbie Malone. Cremation arrangements by Cremation Basics, Inc., Bangor.
