Happy Birthday to all you gals.
I noticed recently on the grad program that we had graduated on 06/13/79...10 years later I had my first child on that date.
I don't remember much about the party except that it was at the Red Camp, I didn't have far to go that night. I'm surprised that my parents and Donna's parents were agreeable to have the party there. Times have changed!!!
Lisa, how did you get to the lake?

Lisa Dumond (Collins) I did manage to go to the party . . . but first I had to go home and get my spare set of keys. My mother drove me back to the high school so I could get my car then off to the party I went. Mission number one was to find the person who left me stranded!!!

I can't believe the reunion is this week. I don't even know what to bring up with me with this lousy weather...black flies anyone? I'm not even sure yet what to wear to this shindig. Help anyone. What does semi-formal mean now?

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone - it's been fun to read everyone's profiles and see what an amazing bunch of people are part of this class.

Hi everyone! Yes, Gloria, I am feeling a little nervous about seeing so many classmates all at once after so many years. I missed the last reunion so that is not helping either. Yet I can't wait to see you all.

Mike Charette is joining up with me and my wife Rhonda in Scarborough Thursday night and we will all be driving up together. He was such a social person in high school. I swear he knew everybody! See you all in a few days.

Hi everyone

What a fantastic reunion! Job well done guys!! It was wonderful seeing and talking with all of you.

Saturday evening, I sat looking around the room watching my classmates converse like Denise, Diane, Donna, Susan and Lisa laughing and sharing their stories. Then I glanced over to the dance floor and watched Mike and Linda dancing, for a moment . . it was as if time had stood still. It is hard to believe that 30 years have passed but yet we pickup our friendships right where we left off that summer of 79. It was bittersweet leaving yesterday. I was so happy to have seen all of you and sad to say goodbye until 10 years from now.

Donna,

After opening these letters I'm starting to suspect that they weren't written 30 years ago. One was written and addressed with a computer. Not too many computers back in 79.

I want to also thank everyone who put this reunion together. I was always told by those who have attended reunions before that the the get together the day before was always more enjoyable than the actual reunion. Not the case this time. Both where outstanding.

I want to personally thank Lisa D, Terry, Linda, Cheryl, Gail, Allen, Mark, Donna, Mike P, Bernice & Tim for all the work and time they put in to this event. We are all busy and to organize an event of this magnitude on top of every thing else going on in their lives is truly sacrificing and generous of their time. This was the 1st reunion I was able to attend and it rocked!! Had a great time both evenings and so glad to have seen every one. It was truly amazing to see every one after 30 years. We all seemed to mesh so well talking to one another as though that small home town personality was all still within us. Great seeing you all!

Yes Gloria,I agree w/you.So much time and effort went into this great reunion.As far as personality changing,you know what they say."you can take a girl(or boy) out of the country,but you cant take the country out of us."lol It was diffently a great time.Thank you all. Lisa, That's what you get for being such a hard worker on the reunion committee...too much on your mind and you start forgetting important people like me!!:) That'll teach you. Lisa, it worked out just fine-just didn't want to take a chance drinking & driving as you know but I really was absolutely fine to drive, otherwise, I would have taken you up on your offer to take me back to the hotel. Your apology is certainly accepted but can't say I won't be able to prevent myself from rubbing it in your face every now and then-chuckle, chuckle.
