Mike and I were married in August 1975. We continued to live in Fort Mac for a short while. Michael was born here. We moved to Lac La Biche while Mike was apprenticing for Electrical, where Teri was born. We returned to Fort Mac and Mike worked at GCOS for about a year. We settled in Innisfail, where Colleen was born and Mike worked at Johns Manville for over 27 years. We raised our family there and lived on the family farm. I worked for businesses in the health care and safety fields for the most part and owned my own company. I currently work in HSE for Fluor Canada on a project under construction at an oil & gas site in the Fort McKay region. I stay in camp and love it. Mike is a Red Seal Millwright and is working for a contractor at CNRL and also stays in camp. We see each other once in a while when our schedules coincide! We built a home at Lake Newell Resort near Brooks, AB and look forward to spending more time there if we ever retire! As for family we are blessed with super kids, who are married to wonderful spouses. But... most of all our 8 grandchildren, Anna, Hunter, Emily, Hilary, Abigail, Kaitlin, Gabriel and Josiah are the best! We are currently looking forward to the birth of our 9th Grandbaby! Four of the 8 live in Fort Mac, 2 in Beaumont, AB and the other 2 in Kitscoty. Michael is a firefighter-paramedic at CNRL, Teri is a mom (her husband is the Deputy Chief at Albian Sands), Colleen is a legal assistant who currently works at a bank in Lloydminster. Colleen's husband is a sales representative for Agland John Deere dealership in Lloydminster as well.
