Ruth Humphreys

Finished my BSc in Nursing at the U of A in 1980. Worked in Edmonton for 3 year, in Vancouver for a year and then on to Dartmouth in 1984.
Started at the Dartmouth General Hospital as a casual RN, moving on to full time at the bedside, then to Nurse Manager, Infection Control and finally my favorite role as Occupational Health Nurse.
Was working at the Dartmouth General during my married years when I had my two children. Divorced several years ago.
Just changed jobs - leaving a Risk and Safety Manager position in Long Term Care after 5 years to go to a new for me role in Psycho-geriatrics. I am loving the work with this patient population and feel so privileged to work with a truly amazing care team!

Loved seeing all the great photos from the reunion - so wonderful see everyone - wish I had been able to go and see you all in person!!!
