Hello to all my Fort Mill High School Class of 1989 Classmates. I'm writing a message to all of you because many of you knew how close I was to my "Best Friend" Trent L. Byers Patterson. It's been tough since May of 2006 dealing with the unexpected/unfortunate passing of Trent. He resided in Columbus, GA. since our years at Fort Mill High School! He enlisted in the army military for three plus years after our graduation in June of 1989 and he took an early exit through a new program the army was offering. Trent never had kids nor did he ever marry but he had a very special companion of 14 plus years by the name of Janice Shields that still resides in Columbus, GA. I'm still very close to her as well as Trent's immediate family here in the Rock Hill, SC and Kershaw, SC area. Trent has two sisters that live in the Rock Hill area and there names are Theresa Ray and Tam Byers. I will down load a video of Trent and his family soon for all of you to view. Trent was a great brother and friend. He loved to have fun and lived life to the fullest. We will miss his smile, laughter, and funny sense of humor. He is truly missed and thought of everyday. I wish he could be here to see a nephew that is named after him. He would have loved that being he didn’t have any children of his own. We love and miss him.
