One thing I remember from our senior year is Sr. skip day. Norvell, Chambliss, Suzanne, Pam, and I (and probably several others) were skipping school to go surfing. (My grandchildren really laugh at this story!) I was running across the parking lot to the cars and someone called out to tell me we were ratted out and to come back. I was looking over my shoulder but still running and ran smack into Dan Sugg (I think), at any rate, I was knocked out and skinned the %%*&^)*&^*&^ out of my knee. We went surfing anyway. Unfortunately, now my knee is giving me a lot of trouble. I guess what goes around, comes around. Mom always told me to stay away from Suzanne. I didn't and she's my best friend to this day!
Then there was the time I was in the Senior Class Play and kissed James Fish. I really wanted to kiss Steve Henning since he was the leading man, but didn't. What a bummer!

I have always had some traveling goals in mind since I was small - The Parthenon (went there after high school graduation), the Grand Canyon (went there in '76 with my sister and our 4 kids; interesting trip to say the least!), Yellowstone (not yet), Niagra Falls (not yet) and Yosemite (2 summers ago). Other than that I've been fairly contented!

Yes, right in front of the school. I was in the Bug hurrying to go work on the homecoming float. How fast could I have been traveling? I got a ticket, went to court w Dad and Banketas never showed up. I got off with a stern lecture from the Judge and Daddy!

Yes, I played the flute until I had the opportunity to be in the Sr. Class play. Supank wouldn't let me do both.

No, I left that up to my sister.

I was Maxwell Smart and I think I still have the script I wrote. I know I have the program. I also have a poem about our years somewhere. I'll have to drag it out.

No, but Suzanne takes me riding occasionally.

Getting back in touch with all of you has been more fun than a reunion. Thanks for your input and keep up with the school stories. I can just see Norman Hall running from Mr. Diggs now!!!
