Leon Porter, 67, of Fort Pierce, FL passed away on Friday June 26, 2015 at Saint Lucie Medical Center, Port Saint Lucie, FL.
He was born on January 20, 1948 in Fort Pierce, FL a native of Saint Lucie County. Leon was employed in retail business as a manager. He enjoyed playing tennis and gold. Leon was a member of Saint Paul A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include his sons, Hans Porter, Nigel Porter both of Ft. Pierce, FL and Christopher Porter of Chicago, IL; daughter, Angelina Gussman of Chicago, IL; brother, Charles Evans of Marietta, GA; sisters, Tracey Evans, Brenda Chavis-Logan and Barbara Evans all of Marietta, GA; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Leon was preceded in death by his mother Angeline Evans.
