Diana R. Dees, 61, died January 1, 2011 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. Born in Indianapolis, she has been a long time resident of the Treasure Coast, recently moving from Vero Beach to Hobe Sound.
She was a retired Operator for Southern Bell and a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
She was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Daniel Dees of Hobe Sound; son, Michael A. Dees of Vero Beach; mother, Barbara Herrington of Hobe Sound; brothers, David Rankin of Palm Beach; Steve Rankin of Lake Worth; Doug Rankin of Hobe Sound; and sister, Becky Luneau of Hobe Sound. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Rankin.
