I have always wanted to visit the Normandy area of France to see the D-Day landing zones and museums.

Stopped me on my bicycle when I was in 8th or 9th grade and he threatened to write me a ticket because I was riding it on a sidewalk. I was sitting on the seat and pushing the bike along while I was talking to someone, I think Felix Poppell, along 13th street.

Loved it the day several years later when his motorcycle fell over in the student parking lot at DMHS. He asked several of us to help him upright it. I think we all just walked away laughing.

I rode bikes all thru the 70's and into the 80's selling my last one in 1985. 1000cc Kawasaki, what a fun ride. I get the urge everyonce in a while but then my joints snap, crackle, and pop for a few days and the urge subsides for a while.

I retired from the Sheriffs Office in 2003 and went to work (part time) at Mercedes Benz. Moved to just outside Dallas a couple years ago. I truly miss Fort Pierce but I guess it wasnt meant to be.
