High in the 40's, yeah, that is probably the last time I got high (but don't tell the kids) LOL!

Sounds like you are feeling better.  I guess I'll have to go to your FB site to see the latest pictures of Rylea, she is certainly a cutie and a "mini me" of you.

Live life, have fun, because tomorrow is not a guarantee.   Later, Mike

Hey Steve C., can you find out from all of the ones that are going on the cruise, if they will be meeting us in Ft. Pierce and us possibly still getting a shuttle bus to take us down? Maybe we could get a "count" of who all would want to do that. (you can count on Ford and I). Thanks.

Michael  hahah you are a trip.......no pun intended.  Its gonna be in the 50's tomorrow.  I do feel alot better.  Hopefully I will get off all this dayum rat poison they have me on.  I am strongly thinking of starting to drink  hahaha  Oh gawd I know my pop just shook his head, sorry dad.  I got myself a stationary bike  yipppeeee...... can't ride these mountains out here.  I would have to put wide load on my butt if I did.  hahah.  Well enough for now.  It's almost 8 and we all hit the sack around here at this time.  My daughter said we are all turning into 3 year olds lol.

Nite nite and bless all of you

WIDE LOAD!?!  Don't forget the truck with the sign on the front and the flashing lights.  You must be feeling better.  I'm glad to see you are getting in shape for the cruise.

Yeah, I had a stationary bike once, but I didn't get anywhere with it.  Now, I have an orbital, but I'm still grounded.  We may not be as fit as Travis and Robin, but together we are "more fun by the ton".  LOL!

Checked out the new pix, Rylea is sooo cute and the same age as my grand-girls, Cayla and Ciera.  I wish we could "freeze dry" them all at that age so we could enjoy them forever.

That's it for now, BTW are we the only people, besides Anita and Steve, who are left on this planet?

For those who remember my van......." god is my copilot" HAHAHAHAH  I found Michael Edward Jenkins the other day, he was the guy that played the organ in the ban "the agency".  Man times sure does go by fast doesnt it.  I remember him as a young kid, when in actuallity he was only a year younger than me.  Where was my head hahahaha...Oh yeah.....duh....it was the 60's hahahah

We are going to have a blast Michael.  I can't wait for Karoke.....I would love to get all of us in there to sing.  I know you will get things started.

Hello, wake up,

Man, I just can't let this go!  Nearly a whole month without some type of communication?

My "BFF", (which is strange at our age) Jackie, was the last to post anything.

Come on Class, make a effort.  This month I was sucessful in finding Barbara Reeves, my Greek Goddess, from Miss Wilkison's English class.  Maybe, she will join in the fun and post something.

Any updates about the bus trip and cruise?  Love to all, if you are still here, (ha-ha), Mike

How many of us were in Ms. Younts 2nd grade class?

My first grade teacher was Ms. Jessie.  Man this is difficult.  Those of you who have a great memory can help all of us, who have put grade school to the way side.

I remember the racoon like it was yesterday.  I remember standing in the hallway and holding onto a coat rack and lifting my legs and screaming to the top of my lungs!!

The last thing I remember is hanging onto that coat rack...then I woke up in the nurse's office.

Oh, you City kids are soo funny, neery a day went by at White City that we didn't have a squirrel, duck, raccoon, opossum, hog,  bear or bobcat come by to visit.  We even had a horse or two and cattle.  There were no screens on the windows, so birds flew in and out all of the time.  We even had bats living in the eaves.  Tell 'em Celeste.  Talk about the wild life.  We had it all in White City.

I don't remember Mrs Yount, I had Mrs. Stonerook, in 2 nd grade, Mrs Durham in 3 rd and Ms Vander ? something in 4 th. 1st grade was Mrs Young, first half of the year, then she went out to have a baby.

How is everyone sorry I haven't hit the site lately, catch some news on FB.  Maybe  coming to Ft Pierce in the spring for a few days just to get away.

Yes Michael...BUT did any of them BITE you, causing you and your teacher to faint, and then when you came to, the school nurse had to take you to your doctor, and you gave her your dentist's name instead of your doctor's name, and when you and the nurse got to the doctor's office, who happened to have the same name as your dentist (are you following this?), you told her she had taken you to the wrong place and she said, too bad, this is where we're going?  And then, you, a child who is INSANELY afraid of needles, hear the doctor tell the nurse that you are going to have to get a series of SHOTS IN YOUR STOMACH in case of rabies!!!!!!!

I'm still traumatized.   So now what do ya think White City boy??????????? . (Just kidding you Michael)

BTW;  I didn't have to get the rabies shots because they made a radio announcement and the raccoon owner stepped up and had proof of the little bandit's immunization.

AND THAT...IS...THE REST OF THE STORY!

Ha! Ha!

Come on Vicki!  We were White City Kids, we caught what ever it was, cooked it (sometimes) and ate it.  Mrs. Meredith had the best cafeteria food in St. Lucie County.  YUM-YUM!

Spoke with Jackie last night,  she got hit hard by the storms in Seattle.  Lost 6 northern pines and 4 large cedars.  Power has been out at her house and will probably spend T-giving at a hotel, and it is freezing there.

When I told her we don't have those problems down here, she replied, 'Yes, you have the hurricanes".  I said, "No one ever froze in a hurricane!".  I hope she is doing well, as I know she will, She is a survivor.

Best wishes to everyone, be thankful for what we have and If possible, share it with those less fortunate.  White City Mike.

PS:  Any Archie's soon, I'll be down mid December.

We just got home from one of the neighbors house about 3 miles away.  Yes, we have power.  Man oh man its like a war zone out here.  When Michael told you I lost some trees, I mean they were giant trees.  The great NW has nothing but large trees.  They were just uplifted from the ground they said we had gusts of wind up to 80 mph here.  I can attest to that.  On top of the winds we had snow and frigid temps dipping into the teens for 2 days.  It was nasty.  I mean I have been thru some hurricanes but nothing like this.  just nasty.  But we have each other here and the house in intact as much as I can tell.  Insurance adjuster is coming calling Monday.

Oh did I mention that when the we went down to the pump house to prime the water to the house the pipes are now burst.  hahah  Rosana Dana said "there's always something".  I have someone coming out tomorrow to temporarily fix the pipe so that we can have running water psssst you know to flush hahahah and yeah shower.  But we have each other.  Oh yeah I said that already.

Wishing all of you a happy holiday season.  My belly is full and now I must let the triptovan work and get some sleep.  Nite nite yall.

Windy  hahah

Wow, I sure have missed a lot!! No WONDER I didn't see you on Facebook this past week Jackie!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and I hope you get the water running soon! Like everyone else, I ate way too much turkey (and suffing and gravy and mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie etc), so I will be running a few extra laps, lol. I have relocated to NYC but will probably be home for Christmas AND the cruise!! I'll need thawing out by then. Thanks to old friends a few pics of me have been unearthed. I have so few of my childhood. These 2 priceless pictures were around 1964. Check out the classic autos!

Good grief Jackie, get the heck out'a there!  We don't have hurricanes here EVERY year...no matter what the TV weather people say. Or as I refer to them, "Weather Terrorists".

But seriously, I'm glad you are all OK there.  Never a dull moment with you Jackie!!!

Take care!
