OK, here it is in black & white in the default font that his program uses.  I have better things to do with my time than take criticism from retirees over something as petty as the color and font I choose.  I didn't ask for this job and really didn't want it.  I was trying to help Jimmie Anne out because it sounded to me like she was at the end of the same rope that I am today.

As soon as I post this, I am removing myself from the Root Admin position and going about my life without the stress that some people choose to add to this thankless position.  I do have things that matter to take care of.  I also suggest to those who's eyes can't see the Dan McCarty School color of green, to get cataract surgery.  I see like and Eagle since I have had mine.

I have apologized to Barbara and begged her for forgiveness.  It actually wasn't her post that got my goat to begin with but won't go into that here.  I also apologize to the class for using this forum to vent.  Please forgive me.  But, as you know, the world loves drama and there are those who won't pay any attention to anything going on until some type of conflict arises.  So, on that note I will tell you that due to this fact, interest in the class website is at an all time high.  Thanks for helping me get the ratings up.

BTW...I searched the web for a good photo of a heal to use as my photo on this page but didn't see any that would work.

Sorry for not being on here very often, so I guess I'll try and catch up a little.

Diane and I just celebrated our 45th anniversary on 7/22!

And I also want to wish our own Tommy Schwartz and his wife Lee a Happy Anniversary on 7/20!

We usually go out to dinner to celebrate both, but haven't been able to coordinate a time to do so.

Happy summer to all the classmates, and if you have any desire to attend the class of '67 50th reunion,

I haven't spoken to her since day before Irma hit St. Thomas and have had no response to texts, but someone posted on her fb page that she (and family) are okay. Whatever that means in a ravaged landscape.

There is a lot of damage on St Thomas. Dru is ok. It will take a long time for the island to recover. She thinks it might be months before she gets power.

Dru called Mary Beth and asked that we let everyone know they made it through the second round of hurricanes, and they are all ok.

Great to hear about Dru, although I am sure she will face some challenges during the days of recovery.  Hope all my classmates and their loved ones survived the storm and did not receive any major damage.  Linda and I headed to our place in GA prior to IRMA and coudl't believe that the darn storm followed us there!  Winds were high and electricity was out there but no damage other than yard trash from the trees, etc.  With 17 people, 8 horses and six dogs we were certainly close to being a three ring circus.  Ha!  Sure hope this hurricane season ends soon!

Forgot to mention, that Linda and I visited with Dru the middle of August in St. Thomas and she was a gracious hostess!  Beautiful island!

We had somebody join the web page today using one of our classmate's unused profiles.  This persons credentials just didn't add up and at the same time was telling one of our classmates that he/she loved them so much or something to that affect.

Bottom line is, if you notice something written on your page that seems a bit weird, let me know and we will get to the bottom of it and get them blocked.
