Brenda Eller (Allen)

I'm sorry that Donald and I will not be able to attend the class reunion this year.  This will be the first one that I've missed.  We have to be at the Orlando airport June 8th at noon to catch a flight to London, England with our granddaughter.  We will have a great trip but will miss seeing everyone at the reunion.  Have a wonderful time and hope to see everyone soon.   Thanks, Brenda & Donald

It looks like Donald and I will be able to come on Friday but not Saturday.  Looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday.

What a great first night for our 50th Class Reunion! I can’t wait for tomorrow night to see you all again.  Under gallery photos, in the one titled as 50th, I have posted most of the photos I took tonight.  I was having problems getting a few of them to orient correctly, so I omitted them until I have more time.  I’ll add more from tomorrow night.  Any of you who took photos, can add your own photos under that gallery as well.

If any of you want copies of any of the photos I took of you, either “friend” me on Facebook (I can only “tag” friends), or give me a telephone number that I can text them to.

I just finished downloading the photos from tonight - a total of 62 from the reunion.  It took a while to do that.  As I said, I intend to go back and caption them with names.  That is going to take me a while.  We, of course, had classmates and their spouses/guests as well, and frankly names have never been the easiest things for me.  So... if I make mistakes (and I WILL make mistakes), just let me know and I’ll fix it!

I now have 65 photos in my gallery of the class reunion, and they are all captioned (let me know what mistakes I've made)!  I'm blind from looking at the thumbnails.  The best way to view them it to let the slide show begin because the photos are larger and crisper, and that's the only way to see the captions at the bottom.   The photos taken each night while it was still light, are much better than the ones after dark when the Pelican Yacht Club turned down the lights.  I wasn't the official photographer, in fact, I sat at the check-in table on Friday night until around 7:30.  I just wanted to try and capture some of the fun we were having.  I urge all of you to post the photos that you took while you were there.  If you are having trouble, you may e-mail them to me at bsinbine@flbb.net ALONG WITH THE APPROPRIATE CAPTIONS, and I will load them for you (they will end up in my album, but I'll note that you are the photographer).    All that's loaded right now seem to be mine and Tommy Schwartz's.   My apology to those of you who I didn't manage to get photos of.  I feel badly about that because I saw who all I missed when doing the captions.   You might see yourself in the backgrounds of the photos.   I also tried to get photos of anyone who stopped me and asked for a photo, but most of those were after the lights were turned down and some didn't come out well at all.   I did my best.  Thank you to all who came!  I'm sorry that not everyone could make it, because we really did have a great turn out and a wonderful time.  A big thank you to everyone who spent their time planning and working on the event.  You all have a place in my heart.

We missed you, George!  Do whatever they tell you to do in Cardiac Rehab, so you can get back to doing the things you wish to do!  I know many were not able to attend either due to their own health issues, or those of family members.   You were all missed.

Many THANKS to those who planned and organized our 50th Class Reunion.  It was a fun event visiting DMHS classmates, recalling old memories, and feeling young again ..... well, sort of.  Thank you!!

P.S. George you were missed and I hope your recovery is uneventful.

George ~ You and Connie were missed and I was surprised that you weren't with us.  Guess you had a good reason not to!  Our prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.  We had a great time and as always the time was over before I felt like I got to visit with everyone.  So pleased that we had this time together with our friends.
