Timothy Joseph Trefelner

Timothy Joseph Trefelner, 72, passed away on July 13, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Tim was born on May 20, 1951 to parents Regis “Dee” Dale and Genevieve Trefelner. Born in Natrona Heights, PA, Trefelner moved to Fort Pierce in 1954.

He was preceded in passing by his sister, Cynthia Louise “Cindy Lou” and his brother R. Dale Trefelner, Jr. He is survived by his sons Joey (Jennifer M.) and Jarrod (Tracy) of Fort Pierce, his daughter Genelle (David Trask) of Vero Beach, and brother Dennis Trefelner of Fort Pierce. Tim loved his grandchildren, Olivia Trefelner, Arleigh Trefelner, Gage Baltos, Mason Francis, Journey Trask and Chance Trask.

Tim was a graduate of Saint Anastasia Catholic School, attended John Carroll High School and graduated from Dan McCarty High School in 1969. He studied drafting and was a certified building contractor in St. Lucie County.

He was a parishioner at Saint Anastasia and St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. In the 80’s and 90’s, Tim was a leader in bringing competitive men’s softball to the Treasure Coast, as a sponsor and manager of multiple nationally ranked teams. In addition, Tim was an avid bowler participating in numerous bowling leagues and tournaments.

Memorial contributions can be made St. Anastasia Catholic School or John Carroll High School.

Services: Visitation will be held at Haisley Funeral Home on 3015 Okeechobee Road Fort Pierce, Florida on Tuesday July 25, 2023 from 5:00 PM –7:00 PM. Vigil will take place at 6:00 PM at chapel. Mass will be Celebrated on Wednesday July 26, 2023 at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Fort Pierce at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Hillcrest with family members.

Reception will follow the Mass, at Haisley Reception Center in Fort Pierce, FL.
