Roland Vaillant

Roland James Vaillant passed away on December 1, 2006, after a challenging battle with cancer. He was survived at the time of his death by his loving wife of 34 years, Deborah Easter Vaillant; two devoted daughters, Jessica Koehler of Plantation, Fla. and Emily Vaillant of Valrico, Fla.; dedicated son-in-law, Timothy Koehler; three precious grandchildren, Morgan, Austin and Zachary Koehler; two sisters, Gail Hotaling of Gainesville, Fla. and Linda Webb (Stuart) of Sparta, Tenn.; one brother, Kenneth Vaillant of Vero Beach, Fla. Mr. Vaillant was born in Manchester, Conn. and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1956. He moved to the Tampa area in 1971 and graduated from the University of South Florida in 1977. On November 6, 1985, he and longtime partner and friend, Nick Ligori, established Ligori, Vaillant and Company, Certified Public Accountants. He was a member of the AICPA and the FICPA. [Roland James] will be missed by his family, friends and clients. He was a trustworthy, logical and devoted husband and family man who was passionate about the Tampa Bay community through his sponsorship and support of numerous charitable and sports organizations.
