Alvin “Nasty AL” Finkley, 49, of Fort Pierce, FL died Thursday November 26, 2009 at home.

He was born on November 14, 1960 in Quincy, Florida.

He has been a resident of Saint Lucie County since 1976.

He was employed as a truck driver.

He attended the public schools of Saint Lucie County and a graduate of Fort Pierce Central High School Class of 1979. He furthered his education by attending a trade school in Georgia for engine repair.

Survivors include his son, Alvin S. Finkley, of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Allen Finkley, George Finkley, both of Fort Pierce, FL; David Finkley, of Bristol, FL; sister, Andretta Finkley, of Orlando, FL and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Edward and Marvis Black Finkley, and a brother, Anthony Finkley.

Visitation will be held 3 to 7PM Friday December 4, 2009 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 11AM Saturday December 5, 2009 at Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce.
