We invite you to join us to Catch Up with old friends from our 9th grade class at St. Anne's High School.  Come and relive the good ole days when all we had to worry about was Sisters Pierre, Margo and Betty,  fellow students jumping out the windows in English Class, would the Buffs win or did we have time to make it to the White Sport for lunch.

We were the final Herd of Buffaloes to enter the hallowed halls of St. Anne’s Academy

in the  Fall of 1972.  Little did we know it would be our only year.

Come and reminisce with former  classmates.

 In August of 1972, students from three Catholic schools in Fort Smith, Arkansas came together to form the freshman class at St. Anne’s Academy. We were to be the final class to enter those doors full of expectation and teenage angst, the final “herd of Buffalo.” Forty years later, we had the chance to spend a reunion weekend together. Thanks to all who made it possible!

And thanks to all of you …
For your humor and smiles and warm embraces.
For tales remembered (and maybe even exaggerated?)
For reminding each other that education can happen when teachers are
committed to us and even when some should BE committed.
For laughing about old injuries and sharing scars that are still healing.
For living through hard times and rejoicing in good ones.
For revealing some of your life’s journey in your wrinkles and receding hairlines,
expanding bellies and silver hair.

Whether you know it or not, I found lots of evidence that God is at work in us and through us – lots of evidence of generosity of wealth and spirit – and plenty of reasons to believe that God isn’t finished with us yet.

We missed those who could not be with us, but trust me, your names were on our lips and in our hearts.
