I attended ENMU for 3 semesters, got married and attended Beauty School in Portales-1971. Moved to Raton '73-75. Capitan '75-80. Roswell '81. Ft. Sumner '81-94. Clovis '94-?
My husband retired from teaching after 25 years and then crossed the border and retired in Texas after 14 years. I worked in and owned a Salon until 2011 and then started teaching full time at CCC. Did part time for 7 years prior. I now teach the Esthetics Program and still teach the High school class.
Dana lives and teaches 2nd grade in Elida-married w/one son Ryon 10
Shawn lives in Clovis. Works for Colonial rentals as their maintenance man and does lawns and landscaping in his 'spare' time. He has a son Kyle 10 and daughter Emma 7.
We lost my Dad Henry in 2008 and my Mom still lives in Az. My sister Kathy-'65 grad lives in Phx area. My brothers Steve and Ernie(class of '74) live in Az close to my Mom.
God has been very good to us. Life has been interesting, entertaining, difficult and fun.
Love to return to Ft. Sumner and see everyone. Also seeing everyone on FB is great! Ft. Sumner will always be home to me as it is to many of you!

Moved to Ft. Sumner in March 1964-7th grade- from Phx Az.
I fortunate to be involved in sports, Rainbow, class plays, work on the annual staff and Sandstorm, and do lots of farm work. I definitely learned my work ethics growing up on the farm. Graduated with the most fabulous class ever to attend Ft. Sumner-class of 1969!
We had a great Senior year and were always together doing something. We have had reunions every 5 years since '79. Not always the best turnout, but always a good time! I think the '60s classes were absolutely the best, most fun and supportive groups to be with!
I am very thankful my parents moved to the Fort when they did and will always treasure those memories...
