When I first starting thinking about what I wanted to say on the comments I drew a blank. But after reading some of yours, I decided to take another crack at it.
Since I have graduated I have gain weight and then lost it only to find it and share it with my husband. I found what winters really mean to me when I'm in the AZ sun wearing shorts and a T-shirt. I miss my flip flops now and I know my feet yearn to be free.
If you remember how goofy I was in HS well, guess what that hasn't changed and I have a husband that is my match.
I use to think that my warped sense of humor was wasted on my kids, however, that has changed and we are all warped. At least we are all on the same page.
I still have big hair, it's just longer. I really never noticed the grey hair until I stopped talking to clairol for awhile. I had to get started on the 6 week grey treatment plan per my children's request. Now when I do something stupid or say something dumb, I blame it on a bad box of clairol.
I too have gained and weight, the other day when my mom showed me my golf shirt, I thought barbie had started a new hobby. WoW!!
I loved living in AZ and hope to go back soon. In summer as hot as it is, you would think the hot seats in the van would melt my thighs back to their original size, no such luck. I guess the A/C kicked in too fast.
My husband is a superintendent for a GC here in town. He's not a tall man, so we are praying that our kids make it an inch above pigmy. Their cute and cuddly and adorable. My youngest son looks like the Jerry McQuire kid. Unfortunatley, he does not act like him.
And lastly. I hate to admit this but I have started my own rock band. We play in the living room, my son plays the guitar, my daughter the guitar, my newphew sings (actually hums, can't carry a tune in a bucket, he's in therapy for this!!) and I play the drums. We have made it through our first song on GH world tour and hoping for another success soon. So that's me in a nutshell. I'm a little cracked but over all still a good egg. Like Dori says in Finding Nemo "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming." Oh yeah!, my husband calls me Dori cuz I have an aweful memory. I prefer to call it selective!!
