Lois and I kept in touch for quite a number of years. I think it was the attraction in band between her French Horn and my Bass Clarinet. She married a guy twice as tall as she and had a daughter and a son. She was a nurse and lived in Chicago. Sadly, a few years ago I got a note from her husband Bill that she had died of breast cancer. I still miss her and her sweetness.
