Comments:
After 31 years on active duty with the USAF, five years in civilian healthcare administration, and 20 years in ordained Christian ministry, I am now living in Mount Vernon, Washington. Lela and I moved here in 2004. Regrettably, after a short illness (not COVID), Lela died on November 13, 2020. Since our ministry with the Mount Vernon First Christian Church was such a partnership, it was just not the same without Lela, so I retired as their pastor at the end of March 2021. I have remained living in the house we had built in Mount Vernon in 2009, but I do have recurring trips to Texas to spend time with Scott, Libbie, and Ainsley.
