KRISTINA KAY KINNIRY - DATTA, 54, of Huntington, Ind., passed away Sunday, Aug., 22, 2021, at her home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Kinniry and Rita (nee Egts) Kinniry, she survives in Fort Wayne. Kristina graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School, Class of 1985, and served as captain of her pom pom squad. She later graduated from the University of Saint Francis with her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Kristina loved children and was a teacher for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit, and the love and support she demonstrated to her children. Kristina is survived by her five children, Ryan Datta, Rachael (Kody) Hope, Brianna (fiance Zach Barrow) Datta, Alex Datta, and Patrick Datta; siblings, David (Holly) Kinniry, Brian (Mary) Kinniry, Kirk (Lisa) Kinniry, Marla (Dennis) Lessen, Kara Kinniry, and Debra (Carl) Wegmet; 22 nieces and nephews, one grand nephew, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pradeep Datta.
