RICHARD B. KOCH, 55, of San Clemente, Calif., passed away peacefully Friday, June 17, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. He was a son of Benjamin and Josephine Koch of Fort Wayne, Ind., who survive. Rick was born in Fort Wayne, Ind. on Dec. 15, 1966. He graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School in 1985 and Ball State University in 1989. Rick enjoyed a successful career working in the wine and spirits industry for more than 30 years. Most recently, he was the National Accounts Director for Mo‰t Hennessy Louis Vuitton. His work allowed him to travel the world and experience many adventures while building friendships along the way. His kindness and humor engaged all who worked with him and developed strong relationships with his coworkers and clients. Moet Hennessy has established a scholarship in his name. Rick cherished his large family. He is survived by his parents; sisters, Lynne Koch, Joan (James) Norton, Christine (David) Palmieri, Teresa (Ed - deceased) Foss, Karen Koch, Jennifer (Ken) Williams, Michele (James) Spolyar; brother, Peter (Andrea) Koch. He is the beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews each of whom he loved individually and who miss him deeply.
