DAVID J. MUEHLENBRUCH

DAVID J. MUEHLENBRUCH, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, 7:52 a.m., at Englewood Health & Rehab Center in Fort Wayne. Born May 6, 1944, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Walter G. and Viola E. (Branning) Muehlenbruch. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. David earned a Master of Divinity in 1972 from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo. He served as deacon at the altar of Bethany Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, for nearly 20 years. An avid devotee of his German heritage and culture, David had been an active, singing member of the Fort Wayne Mannerchor/ Damenchor for over 30 years. He is survived by his sister, Carolyn (Robert) Burris of New Haven, Ind. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. David's remains will await the resurrection with his father in their crypt at Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or to the Fort Wayne Mannerchor/Damenchor.
