Ruth was a good friend. She was witty and a serious life learner. I remember many slumber parties in which she had everyone laughing. The world was a better place because of her. I last saw Ruth thirty years ago when she told me of her battle with cancer. Will look forward to seeing her in heavenSandra Beyer (Killila)
Ruthie B. She was the best of us. Today is the one year date of her death. Until Bev posted it I had hope it wasn't true. Ruth was kind, witty, sweet, talented, a fine friend. Mad Magazine, Alfred E. Neuman, "What? Me, worry?". We were going to Potrzebie U. She didn't pass notes, she passed small pen and ink works of art. We built an atrium for Mr. Potratz. We gathered armloads of corn stalks to decorate for our sophomore dance. She fell into a pile and sneezed for a week, laughing. We pinned underwear to Mr. Meyers' reproduction flip chart. She often pinned herself into her clothes because of last minute style alterations. She tried to redesign our gym suits. We had so much fun. No matter what came next it was certain she'd manage it well. My deepest condolences to her children, to Ralph and Joyce. We were all so fortunate to have her in our lives. What a loss. She was the best.
