Thomas J. Paonessa, 46, died yesterday in Parkview Memorial Hospital. The Fort Wayne native was a shipping department employee of Zollner Corp. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Karen; daughters, Kelly Vogelgesang, Angela Paonessa and Amber Paonessa, all at home; son, Anthony Joseph at home; and mother, Eileen Paonessa of Largo, Fla.
Services are 11 a.m. tomorrow in E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven, where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Preferred memorials are gifts to the American Heart Association. News-Sentinel, The (Fort Wayne, IN) - August 24, 1990

Obituary
Karen K. Paonessa, 65, of Fort Wayne, passed away, January 22, 2017. She was born October 24, 1951 in Fort Wayne to the late Walter and Rosie (Walters) Faurote. She retired after a long career in customer service and sales. She is survived by her four children, Kelly (Jason) Marks, Angela (Mike Dunlap) Paonessa, Amber Paonessa, and Anthony "A.J." (Katie) Paonessa, all of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren, Rylee, Tyler, Alexys, Hailey, Joshua, Joey, Brody, Gianna, and Cecilia; sisters, Patti Faurote and Sandy Faurote; brother, Wally (Joy McClure) Faurote; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Paonessa. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
