Richey Voght reported this after searching for Joe Kerr. Sadly Joe passed away in 2009. I remember signs in the stands at football games...Give Kerr the ball!

Joseph V. Kerr, a resident of Woodbridge, Va. since 1986, has passed away.
Joe was a decorated Vietnam Veteran who loved to read, play with his dogs and cats, garden, talk sports with his friends and most of all, care for his wife and daughter.
A 1966 graduate of Framingham (Massachusetts) North High School, Joe was voted to the All-Bay State Football team where he developed his lifelong love of sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Dorothy Kerr of Framingham. His last thoughts were of his wife Paula and their daughter, Alexis. He also leaves his brother, Eddie and his wife Beverly Kerr of Fredericksburg, Va. and his sister, Deb Cheesebro and her son Jason, of Mocksville, N.C. He also had many other loving relatives in Massachusetts and Connecticut, who he loved very much. Graveside services will be held at Quantico National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 1 p.m.
