Joseph Deal

Graduated from NC State in 2004 with a BS in Biological and Agricultural Engineering. Worked for 3 years in Sylva for Appalachian Environmental Services doing stream restorations. March 2005, I married my wife Devon, who is now an agriculture teacher at FHS. May 2007 walked away from a steady paycheck to be my own boss at Deal Family Farm Inc. We raise vegetables, cattle, and have the annual corn maze and pumpkin patch. I currently serve as president of Macon County Farm Bureau and serve on the Macon County Community Garden Committee.
